Playalinda Run Club is happy to partner with an amazing local charity, Food & More for a Fun Run/Walk 5K!
If you would like to register to participate in this this run please check out their website, or register during Playalinda Run Club meet-ups. Registration is $10 and includes a special event t-shirt. Participants must register by November 20 to get their t-shirt.
All proceeds benefit Project E.A.T. This program is sponsored by the North Brevard Coalition of Human Services to provide food to underserved families and seniors during the Holiday Season. In lieu of the registration fee, we welcome a new unwrapped toy which will be delivered along with the meals. Food and toys will be distributed by Hope for North Brevard, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3). Toys may be dropped off at the Playalinda Fun Runs on Oct 30, Nov 6 & 20 or at the Fun Run on Dec 4. Onsite registration will be available starting at 5PM day of event.
There will be no awards for this run but there will be FUN. The Fun Run will not be a chip timed event.
All participants will receive a t-shirt specifically designed for the event by a middle school or high school student.
*Playalinda Run Club will still happen on this day, this is just a bonus for a great cause to kick off the holiday season!
