This tour will include a 90 minute kayak tour out on the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge with us and after the paddle, head over to the Hardware Store location of Playalinda Brewing Company for a pint of craft beer or non-alcoholic beverage (1 free voucher included in reservation) and a reserved table to congregate with fellow paddlers.

If the beauty of sunsets or intrigue of birding is more your pace, we have a tour tailored just for you. The Sunset Birding tour centers you for 90 minutes in the majesty of sunset colors while birds swirl overhead! Sunset is a magical time on the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. There is movement everywhere. Dolphins are rounding up their dinner, manatees are moving into the shallows to find a comfortable spot to spend the night. As the light fades and the sky ignites with dynamics color, “Mullethead Island,” a federally protected rookery, buzzes with activity as many of the refuge’s 358 unique bird species flock above you to their protected nests for the night. Typical species to expect include Ibis, herons, egrets, pelicans, cormorants, and roseate spoonbills, all set to the backdrop of rocket launch pads and iconic NASA landscape. Launch into your escape.

Price is $45 per person plus tax.

Own Kayak Price is $35 per person plus tax. Own kayak reservations are limited to two per tour.
